INSTRUCTIONS: How to insert new cards about the team
PREPARATION:
Collect all the information that you need. Take a picture of every volunteer and resize the photo in the dimension 150X150 pixel. If you don't do it, “Priscilla” will automatically do it for you, but it's always better to do it before by your own.
Step 1:
Go to the home page and click on “login”
Step 2:
Insert the user ID and the PASSWORD that we gave you and click on EDITOR ACCESS. If you haven't the ID and the PW, please download the “Agreement – web editor responsibilities” from the “Tools and resources” page, fill it and send it by fax at the number +39.0532.771123. We will immediately contact you sending your personal login and password.
Step 3:
Click on the “Curricula” page.
Step 4:
Click on “Insert new card”
Step 5:
Look at the screen shot. It's a simple data base.
Step 6:
Click on “Insert image” and a POP UP will open !!! THAT is the first thing you must do!!! If you insert it at the end, all the fields, filled with your data, will be erased. Don't worry, if you fail the sequence, you will loose only the data of the card that you are filling in. The other cards keep saved.
Step 7:
The pop up shows to you the image manager. Click on “Browse” and seek in your computer the image of the volunteer (better if 150X150 pixels sized). Send the image to the system.
Step 8:
If you want, you can insert the name of the volunteer in the ALT (Alternative text) field. Click on SAVE/EDIT THE INFOS IN THE DATA BASE. Now your photo is inserted in the card: you can close the pop up and begin to fill the datas in the fields. Step 9:
Fill in the datas. The card is setted by default as “Not Visible”. If you decide to let it visible change the status on “YES”. This command interests only the single card and doesn't involve the other ones.
Step 10:
Once you've filled all the entries click on SAVE AND CONTINUE.
Step 11:
Repeat these operations for each card. If you want to change some details you can always correct them clicking on the voice EDIT upon each card. Step 12:
IMPORTANT! The CURRICULA page is at the moment in private edition. When you feel that it's ready for the publication take a look at the bottom side of the page. As you are logged in, you can see the context menu of the editors. Click on STRUCTURE, choose the voice PUBLIC in the “Publication type” section. Save and continue. Now everybody can see the pages, but only you can change the contents as logged in.
Step 13:
IMPORTANT: when you finish the work always remember to LOGOUT.
